When do I have to complete my CE?
The compliance date is the last day of the agent's birth month every 2 years.
Agents born in even years renew in even years. Agents born in odd years renew in odd years. The Arkansas DOI requires CE credit to be posted prior to a licensee's expiration date, and prior to their application for renewal. |
What are the state filing fees?
The state has imposed a mandatory filing fee of $1.00
per CE credit hour.

Self-Study, Online, Classroom

What are the study requirements for my courses?
Agents should read the course material prior to taking the final exam.

Do the exams require monitoring?
Yes, self-study exams must be monitored. Your Qualified Proctor must be:
A disinterested third party, someone who is not a relative or business associate. If the final exam is not passed on the first attempt, students have an unlimited number of retakes. |
Can excess hours be carried over to the next renewal?
A producer may carry over excess CE hours up to the number of hours needed to satisfy the CE requirement in the next license term. Excess ethics hours carry over as general credits in the next license term.

Can I repeat a course I've already taken?
You cannot repeat the same course within 2 years from the last completion date.

What are the non-resident requirements?
There are no non-resident continuing education requirements in Arkansas.

When will my course completions be reported?
Completions reported daily Monday through Friday excluding holidays.

How long do I have to complete my courses?
Access to your courses will expire 12 months from the date of purchase.
