When do I have to complete my CE?

The compliance date is the last of the agent's birth month every 2 years (even/odd)
Agents born in odd-numbered years renew in odd-numbered years. Agents born in even-numbered years renew in even-numbered years. |

What are the state filing fees?

The state has imposed a mandatory filing fee of $1.00
per CE credit hour.

What are the allowed methods of completing CE?
|
||
Self-Study, Online, Classroom
|
||
What are the study requirements for my courses?
|
||
Agents must read the course material prior to taking the final exam.

Do the exams require monitoring?
|
||
Yes, self-study exams must be monitored. Your Qualified Proctor must be:
A disinterested third party, someone who is not a relative or business associate. If the final exam is not passed on the first attempt, students have an unlimited number of retakes. |

Can excess hours be carried over to the next renewal?

||
Carryover of excess hours is not allowed in Kansas.
|
||
Can I repeat a course I've already taken?
|
||
Courses may not be taken for credit more than once in each renewal.
|
||
Are all agents required to complete CE?
|
||
Nonresidents are exempt from continuing education.
|
||
When will my course completions be reported?
|
||
Completions reported daily Monday through Friday excluding holidays.
|
||
How long do I have to complete my courses?
|
||
Access to your courses will expire 12 months from the date of purchase.
