Yes, our Oklahoma state approval number is 190.
       
What are my Insurance Continuing Education requirements?
You must take a total of 24 hours to renew your license.

Step 1: You must complete 3 hours of Ethics located in the State Specific Courses section.
Step 2: You must complete 2 hours of Legislative Updates located in the State Specific Courses section.
Step 3: You may be required to complete additional State Specific Courses.
Step 4: The remaining hours can be selected from the Elective Courses section.

Are there any state specific CE course subject requirements?
  • Agents can take courses from any license type to complete their CE.
  • Adjusters must take courses approved for adjusters.
  • Ethics Requirement: All agents (Excluding Title producers) must complete 3 hours of Ethics each renewal.
  • Legislative Update Requirement: 2 hours Legislative Updates each renewal.
  • Long Term Care Requirement: One-time 8-hour LTC Training course, then a 4 hour refresher each renewal if you sell LTC.
  • Annuity Requirement: One-time 4-hour Annuity course if you sell annuities.
  • Flood Requirement: One-time 3-hour flood insurance course if you sell flood insurance.
  • Earthquake Requirement: 1 hour Earthquake Insurance each renewal.
       
When do I have to complete my CE?
The compliance date is the last day of the agent's birth month every 2 years.
       
What are the state filing fees?
The state has imposed a mandatory filing fee of $1.00 per CE credit hour.
       
What are the allowed methods of completing CE?
Self-Study, Online, Classroom
       
What are the study requirements for my courses?
Agents must read the course material prior to taking the final exam.
       
Do the exams require monitoring?
No, Noble's self-study exams do not require monitoring. The final exam must be closed book, access to the course material is restricted until the exam has been graded.
       
Can excess hours be carried over to the next renewal?
6 hours may be carried over to the next renewal period.
       
Can I repeat a course I've already taken?
You cannot repeat the same course within 2 years from the last completion date.
       
Are all agents required to complete CE?
The following are exempt from CE requirements:
  • Limited insurance representatives
  • Nonresident producers whose home state is reciprocal with Oklahoma and whose home state’s CE requirements are the same or greater than Oklahoma’s
  • Nonresident adjusters whose license is in good standing and who have completed the continuing education requirements for another state.
  • A life insurance producer who is also operating as a viatical settlement broker is not subject to the viatical settlement broker continuing education requirements.
       
When will my course completions be reported?
Completions reported daily Monday through Friday excluding holidays.
Agents must have their CE credit hours posted prior to their expiration date and prior to applying to renew their insurance license(s).
       
How long do I have to complete my courses?
Access to your courses will expire 12 months from the date of purchase.
